THE LEG

THIS THIS IS ONE OF MY PET PEEVES. This and when riders lay on their horses back and stare at the ground. They’re professionals and they can’t equatate for shit. THERE IS NO EXCUSE. IT’S CALLED 2-POINT BITCHES YOU’RE NOT TOO GOOD TO TROT AROUND IN IT, fuck they should spend entire rides in 2-point.

PET PEEVE. when people try to make a correction but are wrong. equitate is not a verb. it’s not even a word. you don’t equitate a jump. ALSO. you don’t “2-point” over fences. you release, you either do a crest release, or an auto release, but non of which are 2-point. (but I do in fact hate bad lower legs)

adding my two cents. i hate a bad lower leg as much as everyone, especially at the upper levels where consistently riding with a bad leg is inexcusable. however, i try not to judge someone’s equitation based on a single pic. we have no idea what happened. is this this guy’s usual style or is it just one hell of an “oops”?

the look on his face says oops :D
It definitely looks like a mistake…however I’ve seen a surprising amount of poor legwork in upper level competitions.
